In the course of digital transformation of society the questions of digital cultural heritage preservation and digital access to works of science, culture and art of the past are becoming crucial. Due to drastic social and political processes, existing digital inequality, lack of a program of digital heritage preservation and special legal regulation Russian and Global communities have to face with irreplaceable loss of objects valuable for the humankind.

The section considers important issues of civil and public law on digital cultural heritage preservation, its legal concept; legal aspects of scientific and art activities with implementation of artificial intelligence systems, intellectual property monopoly and issues of access restriction to digital cultural heritage.
