1.3. Asset Tokenization: Myth or New Business Reality?

Friday, 17 May
11:00 - 13:00

Hall #2, General Staff Building (6-8, Dvortsovaya sq.)

Organizer of the panel discussion – the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The rapid development of digital technology opens up new opportunities and ways for businesses worldwide to use the latest financial tools, certify rights to assets, and attract project investments.

The creation of necessary and sufficient institutional conditions, the availability of mechanisms for conducting regulatory experiments, the removal of legal obstacles and restrictions, both in traditional sectors of the economy and in new branches of the digital market, are among the key drivers for the implementation and use of modern technology aimed at developing tokenized business in the era of digitalization.

The regulatory environment, which creates the conditions for the development of technology and effective interaction between economic entities and the authorities, therefore becomes a key factor in the digitization of business.

The main topic of the panel discussion is to find an effective balance between the business community and the state in forming a regulatory environment for the tokenization of business, taking into account the experience of foreign countries.
