SPBILF Private Law Prize 2018

This global academic award is tasked with recognizing the highest academic class of the winner, while its financial component is intended to help with the implementation of research ideas of international importance. The Expert Committee of the St Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize consists of the world’s most prominent jurists and academics who set the trends in today’s legal science.

The world’s top-ranking universities were given the right to propose candidates for the St Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize. Based on publicly available ranking information, a list of leading law schools and R&D centres was drawn up and 82 deans of legal faculties on five continents received invitations to nominate academic works.

We firmly believe that the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Prize will become an internationally recognized benchmark of academic achievement in private law, while the implementation of the prize winners’ outstanding ideas will contribute to making this world a fairer and better place.

The financial award amounts to 10 million rubles.
