The Discussion Session is organized by Nornicel Group

Ensuring the best regulatory conditions for the companies’ environment-related activities is a necessary tool to ensure a balance between sustainable industrial growth and environmental protection.

The Presidential Decree declared 2017 the Year of Ecology, giving special focus on the country’s environmental development and compliance, which includes improvement of legislation and its enforcement.

The following issues are on the agenda:

  • legal aspects of negative environmental impact of industrial plants;
  • embedded legal mechanisms that promote the reduction of such impact and their enforcement practice;
  • best foreign practices of promoting green technologies;
  • possible areas of further legislative improvement.
